What Are Screen Flows?

If you’re not familiar, Screen Flows are one of Salesforce’s most powerful “click-not-code” automation tools. They let you guide users through a series of screens to collect or update information, all without needing a developer.

For example, you can create a step-by-step form that helps a user enter key details about a new product, validate that information, and then automatically create related records... all in one smooth process.

How We Used a Screen Flow to Streamline Custom Quoting

We built a Screen Flow directly on the Opportunity page that allows users to enter the unique details of each custom product, such as: description, size, pricing, or materials.

Those details are then automatically pulled into the quote creation process (you can read more about that setup here).

Better yet, each custom product is stored for future use, so if a similar order comes up later, users can reuse past entries instead of starting from scratch.

This approach:

• Reduces double entry and manual effort

• Improves reporting on product performance

• Keeps data structured and reusable
