The Challenge

Andrew, founder of Simply Ingredients, has been using Salesforce for five years and his business has evolved significantly in that time. Unfortunately, his Salesforce setup hadn’t kept up.

He came to us for help realigning Salesforce with his current operations and to future-proof the platform as his business continues to scale. The system had become cluttered, outdated, and no longer matched how his business operates, making adoption and efficiency a challenge.

Our Approach 

Agile, Collaborative, Transparent

Step 1: Discovery Over virtual sessions, we assessed the current Salesforce setup. We quickly identified: • Numerous unused or irrelevant fields • Misaligned sales stages across two now-distinct sales processes • Broken or outdated automations • Email signatures not populating correctly, discouraging platform use • PandaDoc integration was underutilised • Email records were not linking properly to opportunities Our goal was clear: simplify, streamline, and rebuild with precision. Step 2: Targeted Data Collection Once we defined Phase 1 priorities, we requested the following to design a tailored solution: • Lead and Opportunity processes for both Simply Ingredients and Simply Enzymes • Custom fields required for each business stream • Document templates for PandaDoc • Branded email signature assets

The Solution

Iterative development with the client at the centre

We didn’t just go away and build in isolation. Instead, we set up fortnightly 2-hour co-working sessions with Andrew. These interactive meetings allowed us to:    ✅ Present new developments    ✅ Gather immediate feedback    ✅ Iterate in real time    ✅ Stay aligned and on track This agile approach fostered momentum and ensured the final solution was exactly what Andrew needed, without surprises or rework. Key Improvements: • Streamlined fieldsets tailored to current operations • Two distinct, clearly defined sales processes • Repaired and reconfigured automations • Correctly functioning email signatures across the business • Improved PandaDoc setup for document generation • Email matching rules to ensure better record association
